Got your permit? Now what? In this block ofI instruction, we will teach the student basic combat skills that will enable them to win confrontations that occur in the home, in public, and in a vehicle. Students will learn the basics of cover and concealment, the basics of building clearing, and when to clear their own home vs. defending in place. We will discuss the Sympathetic Nervous System and how it affects people facing survival stress and what to do to combat it. We will then take the newly learned skills to a force on force arena where the student will master the techniques against the instructors using Airsoft training weapons. This is designed to desensitize the student to putting a human in the sights of a pistol and pulling the trigger. In active combat, where your life is on the line, its not the proper venue to do this for the first time. The force on force drills will reinforce the techniques learned in class and will build confidence in the students use of those techniques.
Airsoft is a non lethal training tool that shoots plastic pellets between 250 and 350 fps. It is recommended that you bring long pants, long sleeve shirts and a baseball cap to this class as rounds will be exchanged between you and the instructor in the force on force drills. Eye and face protection will be provided.
Class size is limited to 10 students per class.
